Today, U.S. Representative Susan Wild (D-PA) sent a letter to Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Commissioner Charles Rettig, urging the IRS to address the months-long backlog and continued delays in processing 2019 income tax filings. For many Pennsylvanians, these delays have also impeded delivery of their Economic Impact Payment(s), which were intended as direct, immediate economic relief to the American people more than seven months ago.

Fred Keller (R-PA) in introducing the EMS Counts Act of 2020, bipartisan legislation that would address the chronic miscounting of first responders, particularly firefighters and emergency medical services (EMS) personnel. Today, U.S. Representative Susan Wild (D-PA), alongside Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA), introduced critical bipartisan legislation to reduce prescription drug costs for children. The Fair Drug Prices for Kids Act would give states the ability to purchase prescription drugs at the lowest price possible, lowering the cost of those medications for children and saving state dollars. The bill is a companion to legislation introduced in the Senate by U.S. Senators Mark Warner (D-VA) and Cory Booker (D-NJ).
