As we mark Equal Pay Day on March 24, Rep. Wild joined the House Committee on Education and Labor mark-up of the Paycheck Fairness Act. Wild said that more needs to be done to close the wage gap that still exists between men and women – including passage of the critical Paycheck Fairness Act.

Bipartisan Bill, Led by Rep. Wild and Rep. Thompson, Passes to Study Referrals of Child Abuse and Neglect
On March 16th, the House passed the Working to End Child Abuse and Neglect Act, or the WE CAN Act, legislation led by Rep. Susan Wild (PA-07) to require a study into trends in referrals for incidents of child abuse and neglect across the nation.
Today, Representative Susan Wild (PA-07) and Rep. Bruce Westerman (AR-04) led a bipartisan coalition of their colleagues in a letter to Acting Office of Management and Budget Director Rob Fairweather to urge him to reconsider a possible reclassification of a Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) as an area with a population of at least 100,000.
Today, Rep. Wild announced she is joining the Democratic Manufacturing Working Group, a new organization launched to examine key issues for strengthening the American manufacturing sector. Announcement comes after Rep. Wild announced that she is becoming a Vice Chair in the Labor Caucus.
