Rep. Susan Wild Brings Money Back to PA-07, Hosts a Town Hall, and Puts Out a Fire
Lehigh County – This week, Representative Susan Wild (PA-07) was all over Lehigh, Monroe, and Northampton Counties talking about investments in transportation and infrastructure, COVID relief aid, and funds she is delivering to the Greater Lehigh Valley. See more below:
Wild talked about COVID relief, which continues to flow into PA-07 and help families and small businesses build back better:
WFMZ: Rep. Wild hosts series of Lehigh Valley events highlighting impact of COVID aid: “Congresswoman Susan Wild is in the Lehigh Valley Tuesday, talking more about the local impacts of federal COVID relief aid.”
WLVR: Northampton County secures $15 million in grants to help small businesses emerge from the pandemic: “Northampton County is hoping to help small businesses emerge from the pandemic with a new round of grant funding from the federal government that totals $15 million… The funding comes from the American Rescue Plan.”
She hosted a town hall in Lehigh County, and talked to constituents about everything from postal delays to the need for passenger rail in the Greater Lehigh Valley:
WLVR: Wild hosts Town Hall, says district is ‘Microcosm of America’: “’The title of the job is to be a representative and you can’t represent people if you don’t know what their priorities and concerns are. And one of the ways I learn about people’s priorities and concerns in addition to the many emails and phone calls that we get in our office, is by having these kind of town halls,’ Wild says.”
Wild visited Lehigh Valley International Airport to discuss a new $8 million grant and the need for continued infrastructure investments:
