(Washington, DC) A bipartisan group of House members praised the supply chain provisions in the America Creating Opportunities for Manufacturing, Pre-Eminence in Technology, and Economic Strength (America COMPETES) Act, which was released today. The America COMPETES Act includes proposals authored by Representatives Susan Wild (PA-7), Tom Malinowski (NJ-7), Lisa Blunt Rochester (DE-At Large), Adam Kinzinger (IL-16), Carolyn Bourdeaux (GA-7), Debbie Dingell (MI-12), and Robin Kelly (IL-2) to bolster U.S. supply chains and spur domestic manufacturing of critical goods.

As it has for millennia, anti-Semitism continues to terrorize the Jewish community in the United States and around the world, and increasingly violent rhetoric against the Jewish people has emboldened attackers such as the one in Colleyville. Terrorism and religious bigotry have no place in modern society, and I stand in solidarity with the Jewish community today and every day in calling out and fighting this anti-Semitic hate.

Pennsylvania – Today, Representative Susan Wild (PA-07) and Representative Chrissy Houlahan (PA-06) hosted a virtual press conference to announce the first round of bridge funding heading to Pennsylvania from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.

"Anyone who has ever driven around the Greater Lehigh Valley can attest to the urgent need for this bipartisan law to start improving the roads and bridges that our community uses every day," said Rep. Wild. "This funding will fundamentally improve the health and safety of our community, and I couldn't be prouder to have helped make it happen.

(PA-07) — Today, Rep. Susan Wild highlighted a new report from the White House outlining how she delivered more than double the annual investment to help Pennsylvania families afford energy costs. In total Rep. Wild helped secure a record $480.5 million for Pennsylvania through the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) in the American Rescue Plan and annual appropriations.

Washington, D.C. – Today, Rep. Susan Wild (PA-07) announced that Pennsylvania will receive $1,173,227,199 in new federal funding under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act to create good-paying jobs for the Lehigh Valley, while improving roads and bridges across the Commonwealth. This is the first round of funding under the five years of federal investment in Pennsylvania's highways authorized by this new law.

Washington, D.C. - This week, Representative Susan Wild (PA-07) introduced a bipartisan resolution alongside Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick to designate a day recognizing National Amplified Musculoskeletal Pain Syndrome (AMPS) Awareness. AMPS is a medical condition that causes individuals to experience an abnormal pain reflex that causes constriction of blood vessels, bones, and skin, which deprives muscles of appropriate oxygenation and results in acid buildup.
